Construction Superintendent

Location: Northern NJ, Eastern PA, occasionally NYC

Project Type: Commercial & Retail Interior Fit-Out

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations on commercial and retail interior fit-out projects across New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania, and occasionally NYC. Responsible for on-site execution, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination from start through close-out.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities and trade coordination
• Drive project schedules in fast-track interior environments
• Enforce OSHA, NYC DOB, and site safety requirements
• Perform daily site walks and quality control checks
• Coordinate inspections and manage site logistics
• Track progress, maintain daily reports, and support punch-list/close-out
• Communicate field conditions and issues to the Project Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years Superintendent experience on commercial or retail interior projects
• Strong knowledge of urban construction and inspection processes
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• OSHA 30 required (SST preferred)
• Procore or similar software experience
