Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for high-end interior fit-out and renovation projects across New York City. This role is responsible for field execution, safety, schedule control, and trade coordination on fast-paced, design-driven interior projects.

This position suits a hands-on Superintendent with strong NYC interiors experience and the ability to manage complex work in occupied or high-profile environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site operations for interior fit-out and renovation projects

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field labor

• Drive project schedules and trade sequencing

• Enforce site safety in compliance with OSHA and NYC DOB requirements

• Perform daily site walks and quality control inspections

• Coordinate DOB, third-party, and building management inspections

• Track field progress and support punch-list and close-out

Requirements

• 5+ years Superintendent experience on NYC interior fit-out or renovation projects

• Strong knowledge of NYC DOB codes and inspection processes

• Proven ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously

• Experience working in occupied or high-end commercial environments

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• OSHA 30 required (SST preferred)

• Procore or similar construction software experience
