Estimator - NYC Interiors - General Contractor

An established, reputable NYC General Contractor is hiring an experienced Estimator to lead bids across commercial interior, retail, hospitality, and healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

• Run estimates end-to-end (DD bid submission)
• Price from drawings, specs, and incomplete design sets
• Develop budgets and pricing at early / conceptual stages
• Review scope to identify gaps, overlaps, and risk
• Solicit, level, and analyze subcontractor bids
• Build full project costs (trades, GC, general conditions)
• Support bid strategy and final submissions
• Review with senior leadership

Requirements

• 7–10+ years estimating experience (commercial interiors, NYC)
• Experience with conceptual / early-stage estimating
• Strong understanding of means & methods + local pricing
• Proven ability to run bids independently
• Comfortable working from partial drawings and forming pricing assumptions
• Solid NYC subcontractor network preferred
